CULTURAL EDUCATION PRODUCER

Funded by Qatar Foundation International (QFI) and Arts Council England Cultural Recovery Fund.

Annual Salary:       £14,286.
Working hours:     20 hours per week.
Location:                  Based at the office at Bluecoat in Liverpool and remotely. Outreach work will take place across the Liverpool City Region when possible.
Contract duration: The post is initially funded for 12 months.

Liverpool Arab Arts Festival is looking to appoint a creative and experienced Cultural Education Producer to lead on the development of our arts and cultural projects in schools.

The successful candidate will be experienced in brokering relationships with schools and communities, including collaborating with freelance artists. They will devise, plan and support the artistic delivery of these creative projects from scratch. As we emerge from lockdown, they will be a creative planner who is able to creatively adapt plans if required.

We are looking for someone to make a significant impact in driving forward our community work in the future.

CREATIVE PROJECT PRODUCER

Fee:                            £4,550.
Location:                     Remotely, with visits to Liverpool for meetings and to install project outputs.
Contract duration:   35 days from May – November 2021 (fixed-term)

LAAF is looking for a dynamic Creative Project Producer, who identifies as Arab, to drive forward an exciting new international project that will launch at Liverpool Arab Arts Festival 2021.

‘22’ will bring invite multidisciplinary artistic responses from Arab artists, activists, and creatives to the climate crisis. Our aim is to establish a creative anthology that reflects the complexities of the issues causing, and associated with, the climate crisis in the MENA region today.

Confident in communicating in Arabic, the UK-based producer will drive forward the project by researching, developing, and creatively shaping the artistic outcomes. These will be realised both digitally and/or physically in Liverpool later in the year. It is an exciting and creative opportunity for a freelance producer to shape the project.

Liverpool Arab Arts Festival (LAAF) is looking to appoint a creative and experienced Cultural Education Producer to lead on the development of our arts and cultural projects in schools.

The successful candidate, who will be experienced in collaborating with and overseeing freelance artists, will devise, plan and deliver these creative projects from scratch. They will implement robust monitoring and evaluation processes throughout.

This experience will enable them to shape and deliver project targets while fulfilling reporting criteria. As an excellent team player and communicator, they will also be able to engage with a diverse range of people; from cultivating partnerships to working closely with young people.

Ideally, they will have knowledge and understanding of Arab arts and culture and have experience of Arts Awards Accreditation. They must have a current enhanced DBS or would be able to secure one before the post commences.

Annual Salary: £12,155
Working hours: 17 hours per week.
Contract duration: The post is initially funded for 12 months by Qatar Foundation International.
