Liverpool Arab Arts Festival

Each July, Liverpool Arab Arts Festival hosts an annual festival of events, performances, workshops and more.

The showcase celebration of our year-round programme, the festival takes place over ten days, welcoming Arab artists to Liverpool and taking place at venues across the city.

The UK’s premier Arab arts and culture festival, our programme is wide-ranging and multi-displinary. It includes visual art, performance, music, film, literature, spoken word and more.

Liverpool Arab Arts Festival, founded in 1999, is the UK’s longest running, festival of Arab arts and cultural, platforming the best UK and international Arab artists. The festival creates a dynamic between traditional and contemporary Arab artforms, encouraging informed debate that explores, and increases, appreciation of Arab people and their rich cultures.
