In partnership with Liverpool Arabic Centre and Habibti, we invite you on a guided food tour of Yemeni eateries on Lodge Lane to experience the unique culinary flavours from different regions of Yemen. 

This event is inspired by the book Bittersweet: A Journey of Food and Yemen, which is a photography book celebrating Yemen’s vibrant culture and its diverse culinary heritage.

We will visit three restaurants/cafes to taste and learn more about the dishes and flavours across Yemen.

Ticket price includes three samples of meat or vegetarian food in local Yemeni restaurants.

Tour One:
Start: 12pm
Finish: 1:30pm

Tour Two:
Start: 2pm
Finish: 3:30pm

Both tours starts at Liverpool Arabic Centre, Tiber Street Site, Office 6-7, Tiber Enterprise Facilities, Liverpool, L8 0TP.

Please wear suitable walking shoes.

The food is not suitable for people with food allergies.  

Due to limited places being available, this event is suitable for age 16+

Please note that places are limited for each tour due to capacity. Ticket proceeds will go to support Habibti’s work.
