Farah Sharp (Egyptian – British) MC
Sami Abu Wardeh (Palestinian)
Ahmed Ibrahim (Egyptian)
Fathiya Saleh (Yemeni -Somali)
– Farah Sharp MC
Named ‘One to watch’ in the Funny Women Awards 2023, Farah has been making a name for herself on the UK Comedy scene; she has been featured on BBC Radio 4 and performs regularly all across the country, even gracing the stages of The Royal Albert Hall, Latitude Festival, Leeds Festival and The Comedy Store. Her high-energy delivery and sparkling quirkiness make her comedy a unique delight to watch.
“Farah Sharp is very funny. I saw her first!” – Seann Walsh
– Ahmed Ibrahim
King Kong winner October 2021, Ahmed is another of South London’s brightest lights, appearing at Up The Creek and many other top comedy clubs. His natural, relaxed style is charming and endearing.
– Fathiya Saleh
“Fathiya Saleh is a rising star in the comedy scene, who has been described, by chortle as “an absolute delight”. Born and raised in North West London to a Somali mother and Yemeni father, Saleh offers her own perspective on topics, exploring identity, family, the absurdities of everyday life and what it’s like being a “girly” navigating the world as a young Muslim. A previous Funny women finalist, Fathiya has been listed as ‘one of five faces to know in the comedy scene’ making her a voice to watch.”
– Sami Abu Wardeh
(“Blissfully funny…” The Guardian) is a rising star of the Palestinian diaspora and UK comedy world. After bursting onto the scene with his hit live show Bedu (Top Ten Shows of 2022 – The Guardian) he went on to create and star in Channel 4 series The Sheikh. He is also a real playwright, having had his work put on as part of Cutting The Tightrope at the Arcola Theatre and has written for BBC Radio 4. His voice is fantastic (literally): his voice work includes a recurring role in Radio 4 sitcom Damned Andrew
