Liverpool Arab Arts Festival works throughout the year, with a wide range of events and participatory projects that bring together artists and diverse communities.

From Liverpool to the Arab world, LAAF builds connections that help more people to encounter and experience Arab culture in Liverpool and beyond.

Each year, we hold a ten day festival. Bringing together international artists, UK artists, local communities and more, this is the UK’s premier Arab arts festival. First held in 2002, it is one of the major artistic and cultural events in Liverpool’s calendar, attracting visitors locally, regionally and internationally.

As part of our annual programme, Liverpool Arab Arts Festival works with communities, schools, colleges and more to connect artists and individuals. This work helps us to raise awareness of Arab arts and culture. It also brings Arab communities and their diasporas together in the UK and further afield.
