Choreographers Aïcha M’Barek and Hafiz Dhaou created a visceral streetscape of today’s Tunisia, inspired by the pressures of building a new society. ‘Sacre’ is based on the life-sized silhouettes from the late Parisian street artist Bilal Berreni, which appeared in Tunis after the revolution six years ago. Dancers jostled, fought and competed among the 30 cut-out sculptures as well as joyfully uniting different voices in to one hope.
